This year, my G-paw turned 90.
And also this year, he & G-maw celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary.
We thought this warranted a big party, so a big party we had (thanks to Aunt Kathy).
The grandparents' house was full of people & laughter all Saturday evening.
Yummy food & wine, two kinds of cake (birthday & anniversary), & lots of dear family & friends.
There was also a wall of photos, from current photos all the way back to a photo of G-paw's grandparents. Here is an old favorite of Kathryn & me planting seeds with G-paw.

What a fun party!!! Next year, Dad hits 60, I hit 50 and we will celebrate 25 years! Only 40 more to catch up to your Grandparents!!!

how fun eliza! my grandparents will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary in june and my mom and i are attempting to plan a big celebration as well. isn't it amazing to see lives so full of love for so long?
