Earth Day fun

On this beautiful, sunny Earth Day, Levi went mountain biking with friends & I went kayaking with Boo on Lake Union--both alternative modes of transportation, but it's all about the journey, rather than the destination! :)
Levi came back all muddy, a sign of a good ride.
And I took photos of my outing...

We really enjoyed paddling by the houseboats & admiring the decks & plants. This one had some Canada geese as guests.

Boo & the Space Needle (she actually looks tall next to it!)

My wonderful family.

Karate antics by the pool.

Galbraith Mountain

We headed up to Bellingham yesterday with some friends to ride trails on Galbraith Mountain. It was a great ride--it's just not mountain biking unless you come back muddy! Our friend Mike had to spray me off with the hose!

The newest style...

...kitty scarves!

Sunday Breakfast

Saturday Hike

We headed to the cascades for a hike on Saturday. It was the low lands but a fun hike non the less. The girls seemed to enjoy it. I personally was iffy on it.

Here are some shots from the hike.

Baseball!

Baseball season has offically started.

The M's were off to a hot start however this is baseball and they are already back down to 3-3 or a .500 record.

I got to see young Felix on Friday. He didn't pitch well but what was most impressive is though he didn't have his "stuff" and struggled with control Oakland still only managed 2 hits off of him and more amazing only 3 balls made it to an outfielder (the 2 hits and 1 fly ball) Felix is a ground ball machine.

Opening Day

Yes I went to opening day. Yes I sat in the front row. Yes I forgot my camera...aaarrrggghhhhhh. The game was entertaining but we lost. Anyone see me on TV? Ichiro's sprawling catch against the wall was about 5 feet from me.

I did come away impressed with the team. I think they will have a very good year. Starting pitching is the weak link. This team is going to hit and are very solid in the field.
