Saturday Boo & I hosted a lovely little bridal shower for our glowingly pregnant sister, Emily. Food was eaten, games were played, laughter was abundant--good times had by all in celebration of the baby girl due in less than a month!
Here comes the main event!
Soon to be Grandma & Great Grandma!
Yummy spice cake!
Auntie Mel helping Mom count up her wins for the baby diaper pin game.
And of course, the traditional pose: woman of the hour on the diving board.

I'm throwing a baby shower this coming weekend - did you play any great games that I should know about?
We played a few games:
The baby food guessing game, the name game in which the guests create names using the letters of the mother & father's names, & of course the game in which each guest starts out with a diaper pin & told not to say the word baby & if another guest hears you say it, they get your pin.
I played a really fun game once at a shower. It requires a bit of set-up & materials, but it was hilarious. You need a baby doll, a clothesline (you can string one up someplace), clothespins, baby clothes, & a cordless phone. Each guest is given a minute or so of time to see how many clothes they can pin on the line while talking on the phone & holding the baby doll. It's very entertaining!
Best wishes for the upcoming shower, Mandy!
