Nice picture of the great Griffey swing...see you later today!! (it's way too late to be up..but, I'm am!)
See my take on the Griffey game here.
Those Koi (right?) are HUGE!
Glad you had a fun filled weekend! We better get a date set up to "discuss" soon!
eeI learned some fun facts about koi this weekend at the water gardens & thought I would share!
Their size has nothing to do with age--there is a jumbo breed of koi & some of the biggest ones we saw were only five or six years old.
Size also has little to do with cost, which is mostly determined by coloring & markings. Moorehaven had koi ranging from $1,500 to $10,000! They sold a $10,000 fish just a few months ago, as it had a white head with a large red dot, just like the Japanese flag.
Koi often live 70 to 80 years & the oldest known one in Japa is 240!!
Your fish facts for the day!
